My new camera arrived today! So here it is with its first picture in this series.

I think I will like it. So far it feels far more better than the one I tried before. Also: today I am the first time at my parents’ this year.

On my way back from work today, I came by the Stachus in Munich, where this ice skating thing is still running right in the main pedestrian area. And people are still doing funny stuff there.

Oh, and Yay! for doing this for a whole week already!

What more can I say? I spent my time today testing a texteditor. What a lazy sunday…

The “one” ring I wear almost every day.

This night I finished LOTR in the extended DVD version again. I hadn’t seen them for a few years and almost forgot how awesome the movies really are. The battle for Minas Tirith FTW!

Seems like this area is not so restricted any more as once intended.

Today I bought a new camera. I returned the one I got a few days ago because it just didnt “feel right”. Lets hope my new one (Lumix FX30) will arrive soon.

I have to get some work done for my diploma thesis. At least I try to do so. Nevertheless I didnt manage to read a lot university stuff today.

I am more hooked on the LOTR DVDs once again.

My first picture. After sleeping for ages today because of (almost) too much alcohol last night, I had to go out in the dark. The bridge on the picture is the Hackerbrücke in Munich.

Yeah I know, it is nothing new, but since a few years there is something that I really want to do one year.

The “one” year has come.

My project for 2008:

I will make one photo every single day of the year 2008, and I will post this picture here.
There will be no restrictions of any kind for the photos (i.e. a special motive every day), but it has to be taken every day by myself. I will not use old pictures. I have no artistic claim of any kind with my photos to meet.

Why would you do that?
Thats simple: I want to take more pictures. Almost everyday I walk by a scene that is somehow photo-worthy, but I dont take pictures because I am too lazy or I dont have a cam with me..

Thats been done before hundreds of times!
I dont care :)

Why 366 photos?
Because 2008 is a leap year, so more work for me..

What if you dont upload your photos everyday?
I think it can happen that I am not able to upload my pictures on time, I will catch up as soon as possible. The main focus is on taking a picture daily.

So why should I care?
See it as a graphic diary from naabster. I am happy for any comments, criticism and other thoughts on my pics.

Well lets see how well this thing will go.
